"Télé-Normandie" between 1964 and 1985 : From Local Amateurism to Community Involvement
Le Temps des médias n°13, Hiver 2009-2010, p. 141-153.The history of Télé-Normandie from De Gaulle to Mitterrand illustrates the pitfalls encountered by local news. Establishing relative independence means finding a path in between powers - the local press, Paris-Normandie in particular, local politicians, and the authority of the state. This article concludes on the changes that lead from the 1980s toward a greater independence.
