Le Temps des médias n°3, automne 2004, p. 60-73.In December 1960, François Mauriac ask the readers of his « Bloc notes » column whether he should continue publishing in L’Express. 150 of the several hundred letters he received are now located in Malagar. They show that, for L’Express’ readers, Mauriac is the archetypal “author as journalist†. Readers asked him to continue publishing in L’Express primarily because of his Christian perspective on life.
