Le péronisme et les médias : contrôle politique, industrie nationale et goût populaire
Le Temps des médias n°7, hiver 2006-07, p.48-63The relationship between Peronism and the media is a key issue in the history of the links between the media, politics and culture in Argentina. Here, we analyse how the media operated in the first "Peronist era"; this spans the period, 1946-1955, and included the two Peron governments; this experienced marked the subsequent relationship between Peronism and the media. We shall consider together features that are often analysed separately: Peronist aesthetics and the political control of communications during a period when the media were expanding rapidly.
