The requisition, redefinition and redistribution of moderation competences at Le Monde
Le Temps des médias n° 31, Automne 2018, p. 48-61.
This article retraces the emergence and development of the competences required by social media in French media company Le Monde. It highlights their shift from the company’s margins in the hands of moderators, to the heart of the newsroom as journalistic practices, and their redistribution according to the newspaper’s departments. This genesis provides an example of journalism’s renewal process through the scope of social media.
