Fictions hybrides à la radio

Le Temps des médias n°14, Printemps 2010, p. 85-97.

This paper is devoted to intermedial relations in the writing of twentieth century radio-plays. First is presented what is specific to radiophonic language in its medium (voices, noises, music, silences), and the topoï which proceed from it. Then two very common ways of hybridization are considered : retransmission (usually discredited) and adaptation (usually admitted). In the last part, examples are given of works which are mainly patterned after music or film, the two major sources of influence on the writing of radio-plays throughout the century. DrapeauFrancais
