The present work aims to study how the concept of masculinity has been embodied by a Turkish TV series titled Payitaht : Abdülhamid and broadcast by the state channel TRT, from 2017 onwards. Based on the concept of "relationality" intrinsic to the study of masculinities, a tripartite analysis of the first season proposes to study the characterization of women and antagonists of the main character, as well as the religious elements in the series. Our objective is to understand how these three elements contribute to the construction of the protagonist’s masculinity throught the first season of the show.
