The purpose of this paper is to highlight how the intersectionality concept leaves the academic sphere and takes place in the digital space. More specifically, we are interested in how different personal expression formats could create another form to mobilize around this concept. To address the issue, we provide an analysis of six Black Feminists on YouTube. This paper starts with a historical placement of Black Women speaking in a French context. Subsequently, three characteristics of the analyzed corpus: a militant engagement based on a personal motivation, an “we” formed through shared experiences, and the mobilized community action in opposition to a supposed real “they”.
